With the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) approaching, various tech sites, including The Music Void, discuss the brand’s forthcoming and intriguing VR/AR headset. The new device unveils Apple’s understandable fixation on augmented-reality products. Earlier, the company lifted a lid on the release of Apple Glasses. Unlike the latter, designed to interact with day-to-day life, the VR/AR headset will most likely serve as an entertainment or developer device.
The headset will be introduced at the keynote, the opening event of WWDC23. Multiple media sources emphasise the novel features of the device. Among those are a tethered battery, which can be in a user’s pocket, a screen on the front side of the item, a “passthrough” use of the front camera showing the outside world to the user, with apps and features superimposed on top. Last but not least, the price of the product is expected to be around $3,000 which beats the tags of any other existing Apple products.
Apart from the significant keynote session, the WWDC23 programme features the Apple Design Awards, sessions for apps and game developers, and labs where the brand’s experts share their knowledge with users as well as professionals.
More information is on the official site of WWDC23.
